I almost forgot that I had this file prepared.
Just your basic counting exercise.
Draw a number from the stack and count out the lightning bolts.
Here's a tip:
I hate wasting paper and ink and all that jazz.
I have made games like this several times.
Save the numbers and reuse them for each game.
Then you don't have to print out or laminate the numbers as well.
Although, the numbers included with this set are SUPER cute.
Sorry, I can't stop saying cute.
Another tip:
For this type of game, I actually don't laminate the board.
I place it in my three ring binder inside of one of those clear pocket pouch thingy-ma-bobs.
You know, the thingy-ma-bob.
Anyway, it keeps my page protected but doesn't waste my laminating materials.
I usually store a couple in the same pouch.
The numbers can be stored inside the pouch as well.
Someday I will take pictures of the way I store and present things to my kids.
Pictures are easier to understand than technical terms like Thingy-Ma-Bobs.
Next week I'll be finishing up the Superhero Unit with some odds and ends.
The following week I have a few black and white worksheets.
The week after that I will start a brand spanking new unit.
Safari Animals!
I know you won't believe it...but they are too cute.
Yeah.
Have fun counting!
